Prestige Daycare Children Childcare Learning

Where children grow safe and happy.

Programs.

We use a variety of developmentally appropriate learning experiences and teaching strategies to promote curiosity, reasoning, problem solving and to lay the foundation for all later learning.

Our programs are modified to meet the requirements and needs of all children.

As we implement a curriculum that  promotes children’s learning of important mathematics, science, technology, social studies and other content goals.

The goal is to contribute to children’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical progress, including children  with disabilities.

General Program Activity focuses on:

Infant (6 weeks -  18 months)

Our infant classroom is designed to stimulate their senses and appeal to their developing self-awareness. By interacting with each infant as an individual we get to know each child’s unique interests, likes, and dislikes, and responding with caregiving that is just right for that childin order to develop trusting relationships.

We structure the day to allow each infant to set her own pace and schedule. Much of the day is taken up with routines; sleeping, eating, and diapering, and by arrival and departure times when families and staff exchange information about the child.

Therefore, our infant room schedule is flexible to  accommodate each infant’s personal rhythms, for eating, sleeping, and diapering and  to allow early childhood educators to respond to needs with prompt and consistent use.

Toddlers (2 - 3 years)

Our toddler program helps two- and three-year-olds make an easy transition by focusing on developing schedules, routines, and teaching them to follow directions.

Toddlers are active in every way. In addition to walking, kicking, and throwing, they like to push and pull. They also like to  dump, pull, pile, and knock down most anything. They are becoming increasingly independent and like to play alone or with adults

Some aspects we focus on at this stage are writing, art, gross and fine motor skills, and potty training. We help children build relationships with their peers by offering guided free time, circle time, and structured group projects.

Preschool (3 - 5 years)

Our high-quality learning environment for preschoolers promotes learning, creativity, and fun. The way we arrange our spaces has a deep impact on what children learn and the message they receive about being here. We always want our children to feel safe, valued, and eager to learn.

Our learning center ensure that our preschoolers are motivated to  explore, experiment, and master learning goals and objectives. These learning center are able to support learning through play and help children progress as they attempt and accomplish challenging tasks. These centers allow children to choose interesting activities and concentrate on them for extended periods of time. Learning centers provide room for children to play in pairs, small groups, or alone.
